I blame Rarity for giving me an artblock. I was colouring a picture of her and I was getting the her just SO right, and then I had to start shading her body...And good lord could I just not do it. And I haven't been able to make anything I like since then. So...That's why there's been a bit of a lack of art lately

I've been trying a lot of new things in art, also just trying to work out kinks in my style...Or just work out my style in general, so expect a few random WIPs and kinda shoddy stuff as I work that all out. I'm trying to move away from blending as much as I do, and keeping it far more defined and sharp, rather than muddy and blurred. So far it's going...Okish...My eventual goal is to end up with a similarish style to the somewhat godly (IMO) with a very 'messy' style of painting that still managed to capture detail perfectly.

Also a huge thanks to for being pretty awesome and showing me a heap of artists that I would normally have dismissed, as well as getting me inspired to get back into breaking down my artblock.

On my photography front I haven't really done much lately. I did a cosplay photo shoot with a few of my friends, but even though they love the photos, I'm not particularly happy with the outcomes because of my own aesthetics. Portraits just aren't for me it seems. Still, I'll keep shooting 'em at cons and maybe I'll end up with a few I like eventually. I also have some older large format shots that I might upload, but I doubt I will because I'm not really happy with them in the long run, and I don't feel right doing the large amount of digital touchup to get them up to my standard because it feels somewhat dirty to do that to a large format image. I'm weird like that.

So...tl;dr, I'm going to be uploading a heap of crap digital work, maybe some photos but unlikely, and hopefully improving overall in the long run.
