So I found out about photo stacking on reddit a little while back. I'd always wondered how photographers got about 50 million bolts in one photo...Guess this was how. The photos in this stack are almost a year old, and they aren't quite up to par, but as an exercise in trying it out, I think this has come out splendidly.
Shot with a Nikon D300S and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens.
Not really, I was quite far away from it. This has quite a bit of a crop to it, and the 50mm lens has a decent amount of zoom. I was at least 1-2km away, if not more.
Yes, stacking. It feels like cheating because not only is the camera not an unbiased eye but it also lies and lies again. I guess it always has though and this is an amazing photo
